Merry Christmas
Hello friends,

I haven't been on here in so long.

But I am sitting here, in a quiet, warm house, with a glass of warm spiced wine, completely happy and content for the first time in a VERY long time.

Things are good here. The finances are bad, as always....
But the rest of life is good.

To those I normally send care packages to...
I'm sorry I wasn't able to do it this year. I didn't do christmas cards or cookies....but don't ever think that means I have forgotten you, or wasn't thinking of you. That's not it at all. My sisters didn't even get gifts from me this year, with the exception of a homemade potholder, and a jar of peach butter.

While I feel bad for not spreading the love the way I normally do....I also feel relaxed. I didn't have any deadlines, I didn't spend a small fortune on postage, and I took time for myself.

As it is, my dvd player broke last week, and I was supposed to be working tonight, so my yearly tradition of wine and Its A Wonderful Life was in jeopardy. However, thanks to a very kind gentleman, I have a new dvd player, and work cancelled me because there are only 7 patients on the floor.

So, I am off to have my warm spiced wine, curled up on the couch with my beloved, yet insane dogs...and Its a Wonderful Life. I'm off to realize how blessed I am, and cry my eyes out.
